一项跨世纪的越江通道工程将在上海长江口兴建,从而使上海至崇明岛及长江中下游的交通不再受长江口的阻隔,变成来往便利的通途。 上海——崇明——南通之间兴建越江通道工程于去年年初由国务院提出,受到各方关注。
A cross-century river crossing project will be built in Shanghai’s Changjiang Estuary so that the traffic from Shanghai to Chongming Island and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will no longer be obstructed by the mouth of the Yangtze River and become a convenient thoroughfare. Shanghai-Chongming-Nantong River Crossing Project was proposed by the State Council early last year and has drawn the attention of all parties.
