花果山风景区是江苏省国家熏点风景名胜区,花果山以古典名著《西游记》所描述的“孙大圣老家”而著称于世,因美猴王的神话故事而家喻户晓,阐名海内外。自古就有“东海第一胜境”和“海内四大灵山之一”美誉的花果山集山石、海景、古迹、神话于一身,具有很高的观赏、游览和历史科学研究价值。自然景观呈现山海相依、峻蛸与开阔呼应对比的壮丽景色。山里古树参天、水流潺潺、花果飘香、猕猴嬉闹、奇峰异洞、怪石云海、景色神奇秀丽。游览花果山四季皆宜。春来鸟语花香,夏日飞瀑急湍、秋季风景如画、冬日银妆素裹。晴游花果山,登山远望、日出海上、大海茫茫、风帆点点、身临其境,使人顿觉“恍疑身世出尘寰”;雨登花果山,云山雾海、如入画图、如临仙境。浓郁的自然风光与多彩的神话传说,加上古典名著《西游记》的精彩描绘,使花果山充满了神奇的魅力。江苏省连云港市花果山风景区管理处,中国音协杂志社等单位特此举办“我爱花果山”海内外征歌活动,就是想通过广泛征集产生若干首能够令人耳熟能详、喜闻乐见的好歌,以此来赞美花果山的美景和神奇,从而让人们了解花果山、认识花果山,到花果山来旅游。
