重庆发动机厂生产的康明斯发动机,采用独特的PT供油系统。该系统利用低压输压泵的输油压力P和喷油器进油时间T来控制循环供应量,以适应柴油机不同工况的需要。在PT泵上装有手动和电动截流阀(也称电磁阀),行使发动机熄火职能。用手动时,将手动阀操纵螺丝按顺时针方向拧到底,也就是使阀门开启让燃油流过截流阀;用电动时,手动阀必须按逆时针方向将螺丝拧到底,以便在电路接通时由线圈开启截流阀。
