流利度是衡量口译质量的重要指标,不当停顿则为影响流利度的因素,会造成信息中断或使听者感到不适。本文以此为切入点,通过对四名中国海洋大学英语专业的大四学生进行英汉交替传译的测试,在测试后通过“有提示回忆”的数据收集方法引导受试者描述其造成不当停顿现象的原因。根据受试者的描述,造成不当停顿的原因被分为八类,并记录下各原因的停顿频数及时长。对实验结果进行分析后,得到四位受试者在此次实验中的特性与共性,并从听辨理解、短期记忆、笔记等方面提出应对策略,以期减少或避免不当停顿,为提高口译质量、译员表现以及优化口译课堂教学提供借鉴与建议,从而实现更流利的交替传译。

After analyzing the experimental results, the characteristics and similarities of the four subjects in this experiment were obtained, and the coping strategies were put forward from the aspects of listening comprehension, short-term memory and notes, with a view to reducing or avoiding improper pause and improving the quality of interpretation , Interpreter performance and optimizing interpreting classroom teaching, so as to achieve more fluent alternative interpretation.
