窃以为.如果把2000年新纪开始当作中国当代书法的一个分水岭.应该箅一个比较有意思的事情。之所以这么说,是因为那正好是最后一届中青展结束并且新一届中国书协换届开始.这意味着以张扬个性、鼓励探索的中青展时代结束了,是新一届书协领导集团对于国展审美标准,对于新时代书法走向的一个开始。从此以后.当代书法对于传统的挖掘与继承完全进入了一个更深入的阶段.因此说,首届中国书法“兰亭奖”的审美标准宣告了当代书法创作新时期的大潮开始了。直到全国第八届书法篆刻展,新时期书法正式确立了发展方向。
