1993年是《统计法》颁布实施十周年。全国人大财经委委员、国家统计局局长张塞同志在参加全国统计法制工作会议期间,于7月17日下午在威海市主持召开了纪念《统计法》颁布十周年座谈会。与会同志重点就《统计法》颁布实施的重要意义和作用、《统计法》与当前发展社会主义市场经济不相适应的情况、修订《统计法》的必要性和紧迫性等问题,进行了热烈的讨论。现将有关意见整理如下:
