1992年,体重270磅的劳伦斯·克雷贝走进拳击馆开始了自己的拳击生涯,当时的他还只是简单地希望通过拳击来减轻自己的体重而已。而短短四年之后,克雷贝就成为美国亚特兰大奥运会美国拳击代表队的队长。他在奥运会上的首场比赛面对的就是后来的IBF/WBO/IBO世界重量级拳王弗拉基米尔·克里奇科。这场比赛双方打得十分接近,也饱受争议。克里奇科比赛中经受了裁判数8的判罚,而克雷贝最终以8-10的比分败在了克里奇科手下,小克最终夺得了本届奥运会的拳击比赛金牌。
Lawrence Crabe, weighing 270 pounds, started his boxing career in 1992 when he walked into the boxing gym where he simply wanted to lose weight by boxing. Just four years later, Kleebel became the captain of the U.S. boxing team at the Atlanta Olympics in the United States. His first race against the Olympics was the later IBF / WBO / IBO world heavyweight champion Vladimir Crickell. Both sides of the game played very close, but also controversial. Crickeko suffered a referee number 8 in the penalty, and Craebel eventually 8-10 score defeated in the hands of Crickex, Xiao Ke eventually won the Olympic boxing gold medal.
