明喻和隐喻作为最常用的修辞手段,是语言系统的一部分,体现了人类的思维方式和认知方式。隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,而且是一种认知现象,是我们通过一类事物来认识另一类事物的方式。明喻在广义上是隐喻的一种。本文从认知的角度分析了明喻和隐喻在概念层面上的相同点以及语言表达上的不同点,鉴于明喻和隐喻在交际表达和文学作品中的重要地位,本文将对两者的定义和形式以及认知功能作一个简单粗浅的分析。
As the most commonly used rhetorical device, simile and metaphor are part of the language system and embody human’s way of thinking and cognition. Metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but also a cognitive phenomenon, a way in which we recognize another kind of thing through one type of thing. In a broad sense, similes are a metaphor. This paper analyzes the similarities and differences between the simile and the metaphor on the conceptual level and the differences in language expression from the cognitive perspective. In view of the important position of simile and metaphor in communicative expression and literary works, this article will define the two forms and forms As well as cognitive function for a simple superficial analysis.
