日韩的一些企业跨国并购最终失败,让世界看到的只是一群在刀尖上跳舞的“敢死队”,这不得不令人为海外并购热潮中的中国企业感到担忧就在跨国并购风潮令中国企业疯狂不已之时,日本和韩国也在这阵狂乱中看到了20年前的自己。历史总是惊人的相似。20世纪80、90年代,同处东亚的日本、韩国就曾如同今日的中国一样,跨国并购成为当时日韩企业“走出去”的重要手段。
Cross-border mergers and acquisitions by some Japanese and South Korean companies eventually failed, leaving the world to see only a group of “death squads” dancing at the tip of the knives. This has caused worries for Chinese enterprises in overseas mergers and acquisitions. Not long ago, Japan and South Korea also saw themselves in this frenzy 20 years ago. History is always strikingly similar. In the 1980s and 1990s, Japan and South Korea, both in common in East Asia, were just like China today. Cross-border M & As became an important means of “going global” for Japanese and South Korean enterprises at that time.
