前段时期曾有人问：“北京的廉租房啥时能露面儿？”听口气似乎对廉租房政策的出台已经等得不耐烦了。实际上，北京市政府在“十五”计划中已强调指出“十五”期间要切实解决中低收入家庭的居住问题，在积极发展房地产市场的同时，加快建立廉租住房供应保障体系可见政府已经将解决最低收入家庭的住房问题提到了议事日程。 目前北京市面向最低收入居民家庭的城镇廉租住房制度的政策框架已初步形成，北京市国土资源和房屋管理局正会同相关部门加紧对廉租对象的调研工作；另外从建设部日前召开的“全国廉租住房工作研讨会”中获悉，建设部、财政部等相关部门对建立廉租房体系都十分重视，将此项工作提到完善住房供应体系、健全社会保障制度的重要日程上来。相信适合北京住房供求状况，分层次的住房保障政策的出台，离我们不会太远了廉租房离我们有多远
