10年前,为应对亚洲金融危机造成的经济困局,“五一”、“十一”黄金周长假在中国横空出世。但是,在黄金周带来巨大经济利益的同时,其负面影响也达到了令人无法忍受的程度:各路交通拥堵不堪,旅游景区人满为患……2008年,以小黄金周取代黄金周、以带薪休假取代黄金周的呼声高涨,“五一”黄金周长假在一片争议声中被取消。2009年春节前后,在全球经济衰退背景下,恢复“五一”黄金周呼声再起,尤其是在刚刚结束的“两会”上,是否恢复“五一”黄金周成为代表、委员关注的焦点,有不少代表、委员建议恢复“五一”长假来拉动旅游、带动经济、应对危机。而且广东、重庆等省市明确表态今年将试点恢复“五一”黄金周。
