By means of literature review, expert interviews and logical analysis, this paper expounds the basic connotation of vocational practicality physical education by combining the basic tasks of physical education in higher vocational colleges and the characteristics of students in higher vocational colleges, The theoretical basis, necessity, countermeasure and suggestion of carrying out professional and practical physical education in colleges and universities in colleges and universities are to provide references for the reform of physical education teaching in schools of higher vocational colleges.
