《英语课程标准》指出:教学活动不应仅限于课堂,而应延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活中,英语课外作业就是对课堂教学的有效延伸。课外作业作为教学流程的一个重要环节,如果再沿袭传统的“一背”“二抄”“三练习”显然是有悖于新课程的。因此,作业的设计,要面向全体学生,要从提高学生兴趣、发展学生创造性思维能力、强化教学目标出发,为提高教学质量服务。
The English Curriculum Standard states that teaching activities should not only be limited to classroom but should be extended to study and life outside the classroom. English homework is an effective extension of classroom teaching. Extracurricular homework as an important part of the teaching process, if followed the traditional “a back ” “second copy ” “three exercises ” is obviously contrary to the new curriculum. Therefore, the design of homework should be aimed at all the students. It is necessary to improve students ’interest, develop students’ creative thinking ability, strengthen teaching objectives, and improve teaching quality.
