Linglong gold mine is China’s famous quartz pulse type gold mine. The ore field structure is characterized by fracture development. The faulted structure has multi-period activities and its strike is mainly in the east, northeast and north east, with the northwest inclination and the dip angle 40 ° -80 °. In the area, gold-bearing quartz veins and various veins are strictly controlled by the fault structure and are regularly distributed in the exquisite granite. The development of mid-basic vein rocks in the mining area has been reported in terms of rock type and gold content. This paper mainly focuses on the Linglong Xishan deposit, and discusses the relationship between the basic vein rocks and mineralization and their significance in prospecting.
