Alveolar soft-part sarcoma is a rare abnormal tumor that occurs in young people and occurs in the soft tissues of the extremities. Although its pathological features were reported about forty years ago, the origin of its organization has not been consistent. The authors tend to think of neurogenic or myogenic origins. This article reports a study of one patient using immunohistochemistry, cytogenetic analysis, and MyoD 1 and MYCN (N-myc proto-oncogene) molecular probes. The results showed that in the tumor, the positive reaction with immunoperoxidase was mainly fibrillin, nerve-specific enolase, S-100 protein; and muscle-specific muscle activation
