我校位于东山丫口,离市区较远,学生来源于周围的红托厂、王家桥、煤矿村、渔安、安井等地,是一个典型的城乡结合部学校;学生家离学校较远,有的需要两个多小时,每天上学、回家两头黑,到了冬天,有的学生打着手电、提着炭火,由家长护送到校.这些学生每天在路上花费的时间较多,家庭条件、学习环境及学习习惯较差,学习跟不上,升学率不高,使得我校长期处于薄弱学校之列,在这种薄弱学校的教学中,英语教学成绩的薄弱程度尤为突出!在英语学习方面,大多数学生学习目的不明确,缺乏拼读技能和必要的语法知识,记不住单词,加之家庭缺乏应有的学习环境和设施,使得很多同学在英语学习上掉队,考试连连失败,自卑感较强,乃至部分或全部放弃外语学习.针对这些情况,在教学中我采取了如下方法激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高英语教学质量.

These students spend more time each day on the road, and they have family conditions. , Learning environment and learning habits are poor, learning can not keep up, the rate of enrollment is not high, making our school a long list of weak schools, in this weak school teaching, the weakness of English teaching performance is particularly prominent! In English learning On the other hand, most students have unclear learning objectives, lack of spelling skills and necessary grammatical knowledge, can not remember words, and the family lacks the proper learning environment and facilities. As a result, many students are left behind in English language learning. Feeling stronger, and even partially or completely abandoning foreign language learning. For these situations, I used the following methods in teaching to stimulate students’ interest in learning English and improve the quality of English teaching.
