Scientists at the micro-photographed the world’s most powerful X-ray laser instantaneous evaporation of liquid situation. These lasers use very bright, extremely fast beams to capture stroboscopic photos of the evaporation process, and liquid evaporation is one of the fastest in nature. The researchers designed a series of experiments in the hope of making better use of these X-ray lasers to get a deep understanding of the laser-evaporated liquid process.
