近年来,邢台市以京津冀协同发展为契机,全面启动实施了以经济沟为基础的山区生态经济示范区建设,并做为全市的一项重点工作,强力推进,取得了显著成效。截至目前,邢台市已建成经济沟531条,山区森林覆盖率达到44%,形成了薄皮核桃、苹果和板栗三大果品基地。2015年,邢台市重点打造了10个生态经济示范区,总区域面积达12.63万亩。按照规划。到2020年.邢台市将高标准打造生态经济示范区45处,总面积52.5万亩,力争通过5年努力,实现经济沟建设全覆盖。
