网上电话技术开发已有一段时间,但到目前为止始终不算流行,其中牵涉的因素颇多,但最关键并非在技术上有什么难题,而是采取什么模式运作。 目前通行的模式是,使用者首先上网,然后在某一个服务器上找寻要通话的对象进行对话。这种方式实际上是网上视像会议的一种初级模式,与长途电话的运作有一段距离,另一方面,通话双方首先要约定时间及地点(服务器),才能进行对话,这无疑很不方便。
The development of online telephony technology has been around for a while, but it has not been popular so far. There are many factors involved in it. But the most crucial issue is not technical problems but the mode of operation. The current prevailing model is that users first go online, and then on a server to find the object to talk to the conversation. This is actually a primary mode of online video conferencing, which is far from the operation of long distance calls. On the other hand, it is inconvenient for both parties to the conversation to agree on the time and place (server) before they can conduct the conversation .
