社会主义劳动竞赛,是劳动人民摆脱了奴役和压迫,成为国家的主人,为了建设社会主义美好幸福的生活而积极进行忘我劳动的必然产物。是动员和依靠广大群众在发挥最大积极性和主动性的基础上,发掘生产潜力,不断提高劳动生产率,加速社会主义建设的重要方法。在党的八届八中全会关于开展增产节约运动的决议中又一次指出:“工业、农业、运轮业都要努力增产,开展社会主义的劳动竞赛。这是全国工人、农民和革命知识分子当前的无尚光荣的使命。”
The socialist labor competition is the inevitable outcome of the erotic labor that the working people have rid themselves of slavery and oppression and become the masters of the country, in order to build a beautiful and happy life of socialism. It is an important method to mobilize and rely on the broad masses to exert their utmost enthusiasm and initiative on the basis of exploring the potential for production, continuously increasing labor productivity, and accelerating socialist construction. In the resolution of the Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth Party on the implementation of a production-enhancement and conservation campaign, it was once again pointed out: “Industry, agriculture, and the operational industry must strive to increase production and carry out socialist labor competitions. This is a national worker, peasant, and revolutionary intellectual. The current glorious mission.”
