新时期,在新课改的进行发展下,教育界对初中历史教学提出了更高的要求,即要求初中历史教学要体现普及性、基础性、发展性,同时也要帮助学生获得基本的历史知识和技能,提升学生的历史素养,实现学生健全人格的发展。另外,初中历史阶段的学生历史观和知识体系处于发展的重要时期,和具有固定思维的成人来讲,初中生的思维空间较为活跃,具有很好的想象力。基于此,加大投入,提高历史教学效果显得格外重要。
