时值2002年岁暮,寒风依然料峭,一枝报春花迎风绽开——一本让入耳目一新的刊物《国外汉语教学动态》诞生。翻开卷首,开宗明义,申明办刊宗旨:“全面调查海外汉语教学的历史与现状,系统总结国外汉语教学的经验与教训,及时报告国外汉语教学的新情况、新问题,积极推动中国国内对外汉语教学与国外汉语教学的互动。”不难看出,创刊伊始,刊物以介绍、引进、借鉴为主,目的在于沟通与互动,使信息畅达,以把握国外汉语教学的前沿。
