进入21世纪以来,中国的青年油画以及其强烈的创作热情与多彩的艺术风格绽放异彩。然而我们在欢欣鼓舞的同时也不得不深思,为什么当下这个时期,政治、经济、文化科技发展迅猛,按理说应该是出大师、出精品的时代,但是我们从各种画展中看到能打动人心的作品寥寥无几,大多数作品表现的却是荒诞怪异、粗糙难懂。作品题材与形式不切实际,一味迎合市场,丧失了绘画艺术的本质。关注当下的青年油画创作,对中国的油画发展十分重要。
