生来死去的人何只恒河沙数?真正的大诗人和大艺术家是在一口气里就可以数得完的。何以同是人,有的能创造,有的不能创造呢?在一般人看,这全是由于天才的厚薄。他们以为艺术全是天才的表现,于是天才成为懒人的借口。聪明人说,我有天才,有天才何事不可为?用不着去下功夫。迟钝人说,我没有艺术的天才,就是下功夫也无益。于是艺术方面就无学问可谈了。“天才”究竟是怎么一回事呢?它自然有一部分得诸遗传。
