谢无量关于女性家庭方面的思考集中体现在其所著的《妇女修养谈》之中。该书内容显示:一方面,谢无量对传统家庭观念有所突破;另一方面,他依然认为服务家庭是女性天然之职责;女性的家庭性格应该以忍耐、服从为主。可以说,至少在家庭领域,在谢无量那里,女性并未摆脱第二性地位。对谢无量女性家庭观念的研究,既可以加深对谢无量女性思想的研究,也可以丰富对五四时期女性家庭观念的认识。
Thanks to the immeasurable reflections on women’s families, they are embodied in the “Women’s Self-cultivation Talk” written by them. The content of the book shows: on the one hand, Xie Wuliang has made a breakthrough in traditional family values; on the other hand, he still believes that serving the family is the natural duty of women; and that the family character of women should be patient and subordinate. It can be said that at least in the field of family, women are not free from secondary status. The research on the concept of the immeasurable female family can not only deepen the research on the thoughts of the immeasurable women, but also enrich the cognition of the female conceptions of the family during the May 4th Movement.
