首钢总公司始建于1919年,是个具有70多年历史的大企业。改革开放以来,首钢率先在我国工业企业中实行了承包制试点.改革充分发挥了首钢广大职工主人翁的积极性、智慧和创造力,使首钢充满了生机和活力。目前,首钢已扩展成为横跨16个行业、24个省市自沼区、治区有钢铁、矿业、电子、机械、建筑、航运、贸易、金融等9大分公司(包括银行)105家大中型厂矿,41家国内联营企业,27家境内合资企业,18家海外企业,20多万职工,国内固定资产300多亿元
Shougang Corporation was founded in 1919 and is a large company with a history of more than 70 years. Since the reform and opening up, Shougang has taken the lead in implementing pilot projects for contracting systems in China’s industrial enterprises. The reforms have brought into full play the enthusiasm, wisdom, and creativity of Shougang’s employees and have made Shougang full of vigor and vitality. At present, Shougang has expanded into a large and medium-sized company with 9 branches (including banks), including steel, mining, electronics, machinery, construction, shipping, trade, finance, etc., spanning 16 industries, 24 provinces, and municipalities.
