随着我国旅游业的蓬勃发展,旅游景区公示语的英译引起了广大公众、学者和相关政府部门的重视。景区公示语是外国游客了解景点的重要途径,也是传递景点历史文化的重要媒介,因此其翻译不容忽视。本文以目的论为基础,通过对杭州西湖景区公示语的分析,对其中的典型错误进行了分类和纠正,同时借鉴其中的优秀译文,提出了相应的翻译方法。
With the vigorous development of tourism in our country, the English translation of public signs in tourist attractions has attracted the attention of the general public, scholars and relevant government departments. Scenic publicity language is an important way for foreign tourists to understand the scenic spots, but also an important medium to convey the history and culture of the attractions, so its translation can not be ignored. Based on Skopos theory, this paper classifies and corrects typical errors in West Lake Scenic Spot in Hangzhou, and draws on the excellent translations from the perspective of Skopostheorie, and proposes corresponding translation methods.
