数据中心属于能耗密集型产业,大规模数据中心更是能耗巨大,数据中心能耗成本往往占数据中心总体运营成本的50%以上。在全社会倡导节能减排和企业需要控制成本的背景下,如何节约数据中心能耗和建设绿色数据中心成为数据中心运营者、管理者以及电气设计人员关注的焦点。为此,本刊特地采访了中国科学院计算机技术研究所研究员、中国电源学会专家委员会主席张广明先生,请他分析数据中心能效低下的主要原因,以及应采取哪些技术措施来降低能耗。
Data centers are energy-intensive industries, large-scale data centers are energy-intensive, data center energy costs often account for more than 50% of the data center’s overall operating costs. How to save data center energy consumption and build a green data center have become the focus of data center operators, managers and electrical designers in the context of the whole society advocating energy conservation and emission reduction and enterprises need to control costs. To this end, the magazine interviewed a researcher at the Institute of Computer Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Power Supply Committee chairman Zhang Guangming, asked him to analyze the main reasons for low data center efficiency, and what technical measures should be taken to reduce energy consumption.
