社会运动是社会组织兴起和发展,与我国经济社会的快速发展和社会主义市场经济的确立紧密相联,具有扩大群众参与、反映群众诉求、增强社会自治的社会功能,是群众参与社会建设的重要形式。社会运动和社会组织在计划生育、扶贫、救灾等领域发挥着积极的作用,是当代中国社会建设的重要参与力量。社会运动和社会组织也是当代中国社会建设的薄弱环节,要促进其健康发展,必须将党的领导、人民当家作主和依法治国有机统一起来。
Social movements are the rise and development of social organizations. They are closely linked to the rapid economic and social development in our country and the establishment of a socialist market economy. They have the social function of expanding public participation, reflecting the demands of the masses and enhancing social autonomy, which are important for the masses to participate in social construction form. Social movements and social organizations play an active role in such fields as family planning, poverty alleviation and disaster relief. They are an important force for social construction in contemporary China. Social movements and social organizations are also the weakest link in the social construction in contemporary China. To promote their healthy development, we must unify the leadership of the party, the people as the masters of their own affairs and the government by law.
