“非典”是一场突如其来的灾难。虽然人类为此付出的代价目前仍在估算之中,做出全面的总结与反思肯定为时过早,但是媒体毕竟在这场遭遇战中经受了前所未有的磨炼。将其中的成败得失加以及时透析和把握,无疑对于改进媒体参与社会危机处理,加快媒体构建全面创新体系,更好地发挥媒体的社会责任,都将起到举足轻重的作用。这也正如恩格斯所说 一个聪明的民族能从灾难和错误中学到比平时更多的东西。
SARS is a sudden disaster. Although the price that humankind has paid for it is still under estimation, it is too early to make a comprehensive summary and reflection, but after all, the media has endured unprecedented hardships in this encounter war. It is undoubtedly of great significance to improving the media’s participation in handling social crises, accelerating the media’s efforts to establish a comprehensive innovation system and giving better play to the social responsibility of the media. It is just as Engels said that a wise nation can learn more from disaster and mistakes than usual.
