项南在1981年至1986年主政福建工作期间,认真贯彻党的十一届三中全会制定的路线、方针、政策,从福建省情出发,采取强有力的措施推进福建的改革开放和现代化建设。他特别重视教育工作,经常深入学校调查研究,在他的推动下,中共福建省委召开三届五次全会专门讨论教育工作,并作出了关于加强教育工作的决议,这在全国尚属首例,《光明日报》、《人民教育》
During his presidency of Fujian Province from 1981 to 1986, Xiangnan conscientiously implemented the lines, guidelines and policies formulated by the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Party. Starting from the conditions of Fujian Province, Nanao took strong measures to promote the reform, opening up and modernization of Fujian Construction. He paid special attention to education and conducted in-depth investigations and studies in schools. Under his impetus, the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee held the fifth plenary session of the Third Plenary Session devoted to education and made a resolution on strengthening education, which is the first case in China , “Guangming Daily”, “People’s Education”
