We sleep at night because the human body is fit to be active during the day. Some animals, such as bats or badgers, sleep during the day and move in the night as they prey on the night. We have good eyesight in well-lit but we can not see things around at night; bats and badgers have bad eyesight, and at night they recognize the way by hearing and smell.
