彭加木先生——我敬仰的导师和亲密的战友,离开我们已整整20年了。20年前,当我出国访问归来,在70次列车车厢广播中,听到彭加木先生失踪于库木库都克的噩耗时,我完全惊呆了。随后,我参与了三次寻找活动,都以失望而告终。残酷的现实告诉我:彭加木先生永远离我们而去了。20年来,彭加木先生的音容笑貌一直萦绕在我的脑海之中;20年来,彭加木先生的献身精神,一直激励着我,走好人生探索之路。我与彭加木先生相识于中科院新疆分院筹建初期。但相处最多还是在筹备罗布泊科学考察期间。1979年11月,我受聘为中日联合拍摄《丝绸之路》电视片罗布泊段“先遣队”的顾问,与新疆的考古科学家一起赴罗布泊地
Mr. Pangamu, my adoring mentor and close comrade in arms, has been away from us for exactly 20 years. I was completely shocked when I heard about the disappearance of Mr. Pangamu in the memory of Kumukuduk, when I returned from my visit to China 20 years ago and was on the 70th train radio.
