平邑县是全国农业大县,位于山东省东南部,临沂市西陲,沂蒙山区腹地,总面积1825平方公里,辖12个镇、1个街道、1个省级经济开发区,515个行政村(社区),人口106万,其中农业人口占全县总人口的80%。近年来,该县立足实际,走人才+品牌+科技富民强县的路子,打造出了中国金银花之乡,被国务院纳入国家重点生态功能区,先后获得国家级农产品出口食品农产品质量安全示范区、全国绿化模范县、全国食品工业强县、中国罐头之乡。平邑县依靠农业富民强县的经验值得借鉴和探讨。
