位于柏林后面的湖畔有一小块土地,早在战前就是埃米利希一家的。他们主要在这块土地上种植蔬菜。一条狭长的草地把他们修葺很好的两层住房与湖岸分了开来,这一条草地是唯一没有被利用的土地。湖岸一抹漫平,缓缓地倾斜下去,长着浓密的芦苇,湖泊的四周几乎到处都是这个样子。从停泊小船的地方有一条铺着砂砾的路直通向安装有玻璃的前廊,他们是在日子富裕的时候扩建这个前廊的。这条路多半是用来从公路穿过菜地直接通向住宅的。从一个面积不大的前院可以进入卧室,也能进入厨房,从厨房的窗户就能下到地窖。地窖通向湖边的那扇门弃置不用了,堆满了各式各样的杂物,就是地窖的那扇窗户也都堵上了,几乎透
A small piece of land at the back of the lake in Berlin was the Emilich family long before the war. They grow vegetables mainly on this land. A narrow, grassy area separates the two well-renovated two-storied houses from the lakeshore, the only unused land.
