The authors searched “nano ~ *” for each economic keyword identified by the World Bank and found that developing countries are generally engaged in nanotechnology research and development. Further research shows that although the R & D capability of developing countries in nanotechnology has increased with the enhancement of cooperation and information utilization, these countries have deviated from the “social development” of nanotechnology, which is generally considered as the most suitable for developing countries Research purpose. In addition, an analysis of patents related to health care confirms the serious imbalance in power among nations and the so-called “nano-gap” phenomenon. Among developing countries, China has a high share of patent rights. Therefore, the “nano-gap” exists not only between developing countries and developed countries but also in developing countries. R & D in developing countries is at a low level, and nanotechnology is likely to move toward the old technology path that has led to the global technology fission in the past.
