为了多快好省地繁殖观赏花木,几年来,我们将茶花(Camellia japonica L.),桂花(Osmanthus asiaticus Nakai),含笑(Michelia figo(Lour.)Spreng.)等花木进行单芽短穗扦插的比较试验,结果是:茶花成活率达85%,桂花80%,含笑60%。 一、单芽短穗扦插在繁殖中的重要意义 单芽短穗扦插与一般枝插相比,具有以下优点: 1.节省插穗,解决母本不足的困难。单芽短穗插条一般长度仅1.5~3厘米,与一般插条相比,前者只占后者的1/3~1/5。
