For a long time, the research on the theory and practice of public English listening teaching in higher vocational colleges lags behind, and the teaching method is not so mature. How to effectively organize listening teaching and improve students’ English listening ability is an unavoidable question for teachers and students. Listening teaching, students distracted, weak phonetic foundation, small vocabulary, less training, anxiety, but also not enough understanding of the Anglo-American cultural background.
