祖国东北的白山黑水之间,是满族及其祖先的发详地。自古以来,勤劳、智慧的满族先民就劳动、生息、繁殖在这片富饶的土地上,缔造了灿烂的民族文化,为开发、建设和保卫祖国边疆作出了巨大贡献。在东北满族先民的广大活动区域内,曾经命名了数量极其丰富的古老满语地名。尽管其中相当一部分地名随着岁月的流逝而转化成汉语及其他民族语,或被废弃而消失了,但传流至今的仍有数万条之多。它们是满族先民开发东北边疆的历史见证,也是研究满语语音发展变化的重要资料。
Between the white mountains and the black waters in the northeast of the motherland, it is a detailed view of the Manchu and its ancestors. Since ancient times, the industrious and wise Manchu ancestors have made great contributions to the development, construction and safeguarding of the motherland’s border by creating a splendid national culture through labor, living and breeding in this affluent land. In the vast area of activity of the Manchu ancestors of the Northeast, an extremely rich number of ancient Manchu names were named. Although a considerable portion of these names have been transformed into Chinese and other national languages as the years go by, or have been abandoned and disappeared, there are still tens of thousands of articles still circulating. They are the historical testimony of Manchu ancestors in developing the northeast frontier and also an important source of information on the development and changes of Manchu phonetics.
