David.EL et al. Conducted Ames test on fluorene derivatives with electrophilic groups and pointed out that 2,7-dinitrofluorene and 2,4,7-trinitro-9-fluorenone may have carcinogenic effects . The mutagenic mechanism of fluorene was discussed. The authors used the Salmonella typhimurium variant TA100 (carrying the substitution mutation hisG46), TA1537 (histidine frameshift mutation his3076), TA1538 and TA98. The above four strains are both lipopolysaccharide barrier (rfa) and UV-repair (uvrB) double-deficient strains. The positive control was treated with 10% methyl methanesulfonate, 500 μg / ml 9-aminoacridine, 250 μg / ml 2-nitrofluorene and 250 μg / ml daunorubicin
