The “Study on Optimizing the Working Conditions of City Gas Transmission and Distribution System” undertaken by the North China Design Institute of China Municipal Engineering passed the technical appraisal on October 18, 1986. This topic is a scientific research project issued by the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development. The appraisal meeting was chaired by the Science and Technology Bureau of the Ministry of Urban Construction; 12 experts and professors from the gas community across the country were invited to form an appraisal team. The delegates of the meeting were carefully appraised and reviewed and agreed that: 1.
