案卷的排列即确定所存档案(案卷)的固定存放顺序,案卷编号即对存放顺序已经排定的案卷逐个按其顺序编号,也就是对案卷排列结果的确认。

The arrangement of the dossiers determines the fixed storage order of the files (dossiers) stored. The dossier numbers are numbered one by one according to the dossiers that have been scheduled in the storage order, that is, the confirmation of the result of the dossier arrangement.
