多年来,河北省行政区划设置与县域经济发展、与加速推进县城建设、与新型城镇化发展、与京津冀一体化协同之间发生了激烈的冲突,从而延缓了城镇化进程。行政区划不合理已经是制约河北省经济社会发展的“短板”和“瓶颈”。河北要崛起,调整区划设置是一项迫切需要解决的重大课题,也是一项功在当代、利在千秋的改革伟业。当前,时机成熟、条件具备,唯需拿出强大的决心与气魄,彻底解决这个历史遗留下来的大问题。
