每一座建筑的建造都是时间之链中的一个节点。作为改造项目,设计师认为所有建筑都有其建造的理由与不可抹杀的历史,虽然时代的变迁、功能形式的更迭需要新的变化,但不可能完全更替改变建筑的本质。设计必将尊重建筑的历史与记忆,才可能完成建造记忆,形成建筑本身一脉相承、令人着迷的文化意义与建造理念。其创新则在于用崭新的工艺、技术以及功能形式的合理分析、解读,正视新与旧的碰撞,完成建筑功能的更换,实现令人惊异的变化。让一座常年闲置的建筑,实现其自然而然的更新。
Each building is built as a node in the chain of time. As a renovation project, designers think that all buildings have their own reasons for construction and can not be eradicated.
