Dear Editor,The brassinosteroid (BR) signaling pathway has been well elucidated in Arabidopsis.The identification of BR-signaling components in rice suggested that the primary pathway is conserved in both dicot and monocot plants.However,some novel rice-specific components involved in BR signaling were reported in the past years,indicating a more complex BR-signaling pathway in monocot (Tong and Chu,2012).
