As the story of the Babel in the Bible shows, people have been longing for the establishment of a common language that is transparent and monosyllable, categorizing the origin of all things and the fundamental human existence as a transcendental logos Instead of questioning this, one does not condemn this but rather gives the logical authority / logic to explain all phenomena. Reflected in translation, “equivalence” and “faith” are the only criteria for measuring all translations. However, practice has proved that this theory based on the original center of interpretation is limited, which is one of the reasons why people have been on the translation standards for a variety of reasons. The core word “d ifférance”, which reflects Derrida’s deconstructionist view, serves as a backlash against this phenomenon. It can provide a new perspective for contemporary translation studies and help us to be vigilant to the current “translator’s center” theory.
