近年来,美国的消费者经济学和家庭经济学院系中流行着一本家庭经济学教科书“家庭经济组织”全书共八章,第一章为导论部分,介绍应用经济学方法分析家庭问题的先决条件以及该书的结构。第二章讨论家庭平衡问题,引入预算约束、边际替代率等概念。第三章讨论消费需求分析,介绍收入效应、价格效应、家庭人口和家庭组和效应等。这两章的内容是在一般微观经济学教科书中常见的。第四章介绍了几个家庭储蓄模型,如绝对收入假设、持久收入或生命周期假设、相对收入假设等,余下的几章是该书最有特色的部分。第五章家讨论家庭时间利用问题,时间作为一个约束条件连同收入约束和效用函数一起构成一个家庭工作闲暇模型。这个模型清楚地显示出收入和工资率是如何影响家庭分配其工作时间、家务劳动时间和闲暇时间的。该章也讨论了此模型的几项扩展,如家庭成员专业化和家庭劳务分工、所得税和福利收入对家庭时间
In recent years, there are eight chapters in the family history of consumer economics and family economics in the United States. The first chapter is an introductory part introducing preemptive analysis of family problems by applying the method of applied economics Conditions and the structure of the book. The second chapter discusses the issue of family balance, introducing the concepts of budget constraint and marginal rate of substitution. The third chapter discusses consumer demand analysis, introducing income effect, price effect, family population and family group and effect. The content of these two chapters is common in general microeconomics textbooks. Chapter 4 presents several household saving models such as absolute income assumptions, persistent income or life cycle assumptions, relative income assumptions, etc. The remaining chapters are the most distinctive parts of the book. Chapter 5 discusses the issue of family time utilization, and time as a constraint together with income constraints and utility functions forms a homework leisure model. This model clearly shows how income and wage rates affect how families allocate their hours of work, domestic work, and spare time. The chapter also discusses several extensions of this model, such as the specialization of family members and the division of household labor, income tax and welfare income on family time
