The expression of carcinoembryonic protein IMP3 is closely related to invasive carcinoma. The authors of the present study focused on whether a biomarker, IMP3, could be used as a predictive marker of progression to invasive squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CIN2 and CIN3.
