In August 1963, a serious flood occurred in the Sanshui system of the South Canal, Ziya River and Daqinghe in the Haihe River Basin. Some hydrological stations may not be able to obtain complete information as a result of being destroyed by the testing equipment or the stations are out of control due to the overflow of embankments.
