豆科绿肥紫云英是本省稻田的基本肥源,也是发展畜牧业的优良饲料。以往生产实践证明,采用固氮能力强的优良根瘤菌株进行接种,是提高紫云英产量的一项重要措施,近几年我们在以往选育的基础上继续进行新的选育。1968年从杭州、绍兴、宁波、桐庐、临海等地采集了58株样本,并从根瘤中分离出92个菌株,之后又进行了初步筛选。1972年将上述初筛出的10多个菌株进行复筛,从中选出“38D”,“50A”两个较好的菌株。1973～1974年我们将“38D”,
